Why Become a Sponsor?
When you partner with Children’s Theatre of Richmond, your company becomes part of a wider marketing campaign with a designated target of Vancouver families with children aged 2 to 17. In 2018, approximately 244,000 people saw our show posters. 75,000 people saw our promotional booth at the Steveston Canada Day Parade, 35,000 saw us at the Vancouver Dragon Boat Festival, and 55,000 at the Khatsahlano Street Party. Our first five performances were attended by 3,620 audience members.
Your company will also be introduced to 10,000 families who are following us through Facebook, Instagram, WeChat, and our E-Newsletter. From April to November 2018, 200 families downloaded our sponsor coupons. Sales was directly generated from the coupon downloads.
Since 2017, CTORA productions have attracted over 1000 young talents applying for auditions, 300 auditioned, and 112 performers were cast. CTORA shows were brought to different theatres in New Westminster, Vancouver and Richmond. $330,000 was spent on the productions and forty-eight job positions were created for local professional theatre artists.
Children’s Theatre of Richmond’s production team includes international directors, world champion choreographers, local well-known music directors and top theatre artists.
Our marketing campaign gives young volunteers the opportunity to work with a professional marketing team. Volunteers also work as stage crew, prop makers, set decorators, and front of house reception management in each show production, giving youth the opportunity to get hands-on experience before they pursue careers in the theatre industry.
Since 2017, twenty-seven sponsors have supported our productions. Media releases about our shows covered over fifty traditional media and numerous new medias with resulting in all performances selling out.
In May 2019, a cast of thirty-three young performers will present Rodgers and Hammerstein’s G2K Cinderella. We would greatly appreciate your support by sponsoring our production.
